  Let me be honest with you. Racing Master looks incredible. The moment I took the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ onto the Shanghai International Circuit, with the sun bouncing off every polygon and that deep engine roar filling my ears, I believed I was in a real race. Codemasters knows their sound design, and the real-time lighting here makes every car feel like a museum piece. But here’s the question that kept nagging me after ten hours of play: is looking pretty the same as being fun?
  
  The problem isn’t the content. Over 120 licensed cars from 30 brands, real-world tracks like Indianapolis and Red Bull Ring, plus street circuits in Chicago and Barcelona — on paper, this is a dream garage. The customization is deep too: paint, decals, wheels, suspension, even authentic aftermarket parts. You can build your perfect ride. But once you actually start racing against other players, the magic starts to fade. The handling sits in an awkward middle zone. It’s not arcade enough to be carefree, but it’s not simulation enough to satisfy the hardcore crowd. You feel like you’re fighting the controls instead of fighting the other drivers.

  The real-time multiplayer races are where the cracks show. Matchmaking feels uneven, and the thrill of sliding through that scanned version of the Alps gets buried under connection hiccups and rubber-banding opponents. I wanted to love Racing Master. I spent hours tweaking my SVJ’s brake balance and choosing the perfect livery. But when the green flag drops, all that beautiful detail fades into the background, and you’re just another mobile racer trying not to hit a wall. Great for screenshots. Less great for your pulse.
